1855 Flying Eagle Cent, Judd-167, Pollock-193, R.4, XF 40. Flying Eagle design in a Large cent format with the hook-neck eagle flying left. The reverse is similar to the Braided Hair Large cent. Struck in either copper or bronze with a plain edge. Probably carried as a pocket piece at one time which resulted in the light friction seen over the highpoints. There is one noticeable mark, a curved scratch in the upper obverse field. (PCGS# 11709)

PCGS 1859 Half Dollar, Judd-242, Pollock-298, R.5, PR 65 Brown. Paquet's design for the obverse resembles the Greek god Dionysus with a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY set at odd angles at the base of the neck. The reverse has 50 CENTS in the center and is surrounded by a large wreath. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. For a brown coin this piece is quite colorful with lime-green and rose as secondary, underlying colors. (PCGS# 11980)

ANACS 1787 Fugio Cent AU 50. Pointed Rays. STATES UNITED. K-13X. 8.82 grams. Well struck with bright surfaces that still retain some mint luster and even traces of original red at the top of the obverse. There are numerous tiny planchet flakes out of each side, but only a couple that are larger and of singular importance. A tiny edge clip is noticed at 4 o'clock on the obverse. Quite an impressive example of this popular Colonial issue. Listed on page 63 of the 1995 Guide Book. (PCGS# 787)

A common variety, this piece appears to have been struck on a slightly buckled planchet that shows a couple of small, squiggly die cracks on the obverse. NGC 1793 AU 55. B-2, C-2, R.3. EAC graded AU 55. This is perhaps one of the most popular and widely collected American coins, as it represents the first year of production at the minting facility in Philadelphia as well as the first issue of the smallest denomination of U.S. coinage. Few specimens have survived in higher grades due to heavy usage in circulation over many years. This piece exhibits a blunt strike on the hair, cap, line of the bust, and the central-right portion of the reverse. There is a small, dark spot left of the L in LIBERTY, and another left of the base of the 1 in the date. This coin is remarkably well preserved in spite of these few blemishes, and it has a medium brown color overall with a smidgen of original mint red through UNITED and the leaves below. The reverse is rotated about 25 degrees to the right. (PCGS# 1000)

The reverse is a similar light brown color becoming slightly darker at the periphery with the diagnostic die break encircling half of the rim. Well struck with only slight wear visible. (PCGS# 1063)
