1845-O 10C Huge O, F-101b, R.5, VF20 NGC. Obverse gray color surrounds deeper shades in the protected areas, while the reverse exhibits slate-blue throughout. This is a Top 100 Liberty Seated dimes variety, #28 on that list, with a distinct, thick mintmark tilting right. Dates and mintmarks were punched by hand throughout the Liberty Seated series, leading to extensive variation between individual dies. NGC Census: (0/0). PCGS Population: (0/1). VF20.
