1891 10C F-102, R.3 -- Struck 10% Off Center -- AU50 NGC.
Struck off-center toward 12:30. The design is intact except for dentils and the tops of OF. The absence of a protective rim between 12 and 2 o'clock causes uneven wear on Liberty's head and cap. Golden-brown toning accompanies the peripheries, though the remainder of the coin is silver-gray. Mintage 15,310,600.
From The John W. McCloskey Collection.
