This is a complicated error, struck off-center on a dime planchet that was partially overlapped by another planchet. The date is weakly visible just below the bottom edge of Washington's bust. Most of the eagle is visible on the reverse. Light gray surfaces with faint gold toning on the reverse.

The mints threw out all stops by 1966 to replace hoarded silver coins with clad replacements. Population: 37 in 67, 0 finer (5/06). (PCGS# 5879)
