An Uncertified group of colonials that includes: 1788 Massachusetts Cent VG8 Corroded, well worn but the devices are unmistakable; 1785 Connecticut Copper Bust Right Fine 12 Corroded, M. 3.1-L, R.4, the legends are clear, a few planchet flaws, dark and lightly corroded; 1787 Connecticut Copper Draped Bust Left VF20 Corroded, dark fields with tan-brown devices, most of the date is present; 1787 Connecticut Copper Mailed Bust Left Fine 15 Corroded, M. 14-H, R.3, the only variety with a pheon on each side of the date, the legends are sharp but the surfaces are pitted; and a 1783 Washington & Independence VF20 Damaged, glossy chocolate-brown color, the reverse periphery has a few short scratches. 1835 Cent Head of 1836--Double Struck On Reverse--Good 4 PCGS. Although PCGS has not ventured to note the date on the insert, the tops of the digits of the date are legible, and the portrait is clearly the "Head of 1836." This Cent was initially struck about 40% off center at 6 o'clock, relative to the reverse. The error was apparently noted by Mint workers, who decided to strike the coin a second time rather than discard it. Portions of the wreath, STATES, and ONE CENT persist from the initial strike. The obverse is double struck as well, although the second strike has removed most of the details from the first strike except for the edge.
