Undated 1C Error Indian Cent--Struck 35% Off Cent--MS62 Brown PCGS. Struck off center toward 7 o'clock. The ribbon bears an L initial, the lowest headdress feather points between IC, and the N in ONE is shallow. Although the date is off the flan, the design indicates a date range from 1864 to 1877. Walnut-brown patina with hints of the original red color. A pinscratch near the arrowheads provides the sole detraction.

An NGC-certified 1885 Proof Set that includes:

1885 1C Cent PR66 Red and Brown NGC. This sharply struck premium Gem reveals rich ruby-red and aqua-marine colors when it is rotated under a light. Lovingly preserved and seemingly carbon-free.

1885 Three Cent Nickel PR65 NGC. An exquisitely struck Gem with dusky pearl-gray patina. The upper reverse is lightly strike doubled, but the surfaces are essentially as made. Business strikes and proofs combined for only 4,790 pieces.

1885 Nickel PR66 NGC. Every kernel shows on the left ear of corn on this splendidly struck Gem. A gorgeous key date example with apricot and steel-blue hues. A pair of tiny mint-made planchet flaws on the reverse field are all that preclude an even finer designation.

1885 Dime PR65 NGC. Golden-brown peripheral patina frames the lightly toned centers of this crisply struck and beautifully preserved Gem. Although not designated as such, the devices appear to have cameo contrast with the mirrored fields. Only 930 proofs were struck.

1885 Quarter PR64 NGC. This needle-sharp Choice proof has lightly toned borders and moderate cameo contrast. The obverse is well preserved, and the reverse is only a few wispy hairlines. A very low mintage year, since the Philadelphia Mint was busy with Silver Dollar production.

1885 Half Dollar PR64 NGC. Blushes of golden-brown patina embrace the borders of this well struck near-Gem. Mild cameo contrast and attractive surfaces ensure the eye appeal. Only 930 proofs and 5,200 commercial strikes were issued.

1885 Morgan Dollar PR65 NGC. A lightly toned and seemingly fully struck Gem that has obviously been lovingly preserved since the day of its production. Gem Morgan Dollars with the nearly undisturbed surfaces of the present coin are always in demand from specialists of this popular series. (Total: 7 coins) (PCGS# 2343)

1936 Dime PR64, boldly struck, slate-gray color, slightly rotated dies, striated fields (as made), the lowest proof mintage in the series as is also the case for the Quarter and Half Dollar;

1936 Quarter PR63, sharply struck, untoned, a faint slide mark on the lower cheek; and a

1970-D 25C Error Quarter--Struck on 10C Planchet--MS64 NGC. Weight: 2.2 grams. The date is virtually complete, and is fully legible despite moderate peripheral distortion. Such distortion is diagnostic of a wrong planchet error, since the planchet stretches under the force of the strike and is unrestrained by the collar. A lustrous silver-gray and honey tinged near-Gem with clean surfaces aside from a few tiny green specks on the eagle's right (facing) wing.
