1865 Round Liberty Quarter
1865 25C Liberty Round 25 Cents, BG-802, Low R.5, MS66 NGC.
A smooth and moderately prooflike wheat-gold example. The reverse
die was lapped prior to the strike, transforming DOLLAR into LOLA.
BG-802 is very scarce. As of (1/13), NGC has certified only five
examples, two as MS62 and one each as MS64 and MS66. Since the
three finest at PCGS are graded MS65, the present example is the
