Ex: Bass PR64 1870 Standard Silver Quarter, Judd-900
1870 25C Standard Silver Quarter Dollar, Judd-900, Pollock-1015, R.5-6, PR64 PCGS. From the Judd-900 to Judd-906 family of patterns, which all share the same obverse and reverse dies. Combinations are known with plain or reeded edges, and struck in silver, copper, or aluminum. Judd-900 is struck in silver with a reeded edge. A sharply struck and carefully preserved specimen that has moderate contrast and a hint of peripheral gold color. The dies are slightly rotated counterclockwise.Ex: Harry W. Bass, Jr. Collection, Part I (Bowers and Merena, 5/1999), lot 1135, which realized $2,070. Earlier, A.N.A. Sale, (Stack's, 8/1971), lot 433, which realized $140, and the Waldorf Sale, February 1960, lot 2368. (#61144)
