1807 Draped Bust Half, O-108, MS63
Ideal Type Coin

1807 50C Draped Bust MS63 PCGS. O-108, R.3. Star 7 points above the base of L, star 8 points well above the base of Y and nearly touches star 9. The reverse is missing the right base of the F in OF, five berries all have thick stems, a leaf points to the extreme right of the I in AMERICA, AM is joined at the base and A is joined to the third feather.
Hints of champagne-gold color adhere to the lustrous surfaces of this Select half. The design features are generally well impressed, though the central areas are a tad soft, not uncommon on the 1807. Some reverse clash marks are noted, as are a few minor handling marks. This is an ideal piece for a high-grade type set. Population: 15 in 63, 17 finer (11/11).(Registry values: N4719)
