1896 25C PR66 Cameo NGC. The 1896 is a collector favorite. It is an available date as a proof and arguably the best-produced proof in the entire Barber series. This piece shows why. The surfaces are brilliant throughout, which allows full viewing of the stark white-on-black cameo effect. Naturally, there are no observable defects on either side of this highly impressive cameo.
