1909-S 1C MS66 Red NGC. This final-year key date example exhibits wonderfully preserved surfaces that incorporate a generally strong strike and shimmering luster. Inescapable minor weakness is noted on the headdress feather tips. Deep copper-red-gold coloration evenly blankets both sides. Blemish-free with a modest number of flyspecks, on each side, that gather near the peripheries, this is an important Premium Gem representative of the lowest-mintage date in the long-lived Indian Head cent series.
