1795 $1 Flowing Hair, Three Leaves Good 4 PCGS. B-12, BB-26, R.6. Bowers-Borckardt Die State II. A rare die variety of the introductory and briefly coined Flowing Hair type. LIBERTY is sharp and all other legends are readable though the bottom of the date and the top of UNITED is faint. The stone-gray and chestnut-gold surfaces are unmarked save for a small obverse rim ding at 8 o'clock.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24WZ, PCGS# 6852, Greysheet# 7145)
