Description

Brilliant 1877 Three Cent Nickel
PR66 Cameo

1877 3CN PR66 Cameo PCGS. CAC. This is an immensely popular date inasmuch as it boasts the lowest total mintage in the series. At least 510 pieces were produced, all in proof format. There is no toning on either side--a feature that allows full appreciation of the glowing fields and their degree of contrast with the frosty textured devices. The strike is sharp throughout, and there are no singularly distracting carbon or hairlines to report.
