Description
1711-D 30DEN French Colonies 30 Deniers VF25 PCGS. Breen-284. The Lyon Mint delivered 4.2 million 30 Deniers in 1711, plus an unknown number of additional coins with the same date in 1712. This particular example is impressed on a faulty planchet with a porous surface. The definition is not complete in all areas, but most major features are at least outlined. Rich olive-copper toning blankets both sides. Listed on page 31 of the 2002 Guide Book.
