Description
Extremely Scarce 1913-D Half Dollar MS66
1913-D 50C MS66 NGC. Ex: T. Price Collection. Although not widely known by those who don't specialize in Barber Half Dollars, the 1913-D has the sixth lowest mintage of the series and is seldom located in Gem and better grades. This unsurpassable Premium Gem benefits from creamy smooth fields and an intense, satiny sheen, with both sides being accented in delicate golden-orange patina. The location of a finer example might prove to be an impossible task. Population: 4 in 66, 0 finer (5/05).(#6528) (Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24NL, PCGS# 6528, Greysheet# 6622)
