Description
PCGS 1869 Liberty Head Octagonal Quarter Dollar AU 55. BG-751, R.6. The small G under the head and the value in the shield on the reverse identify the maker of this piece as Robert a. Gray Co. The shield point is above LL and a berry appears just right of the 9 of the date. This example is deeply toned in rich steel-blue and russet colors. Softly struck in the center of the reverse, so that the denomination and the date appear weak.
