Partial Collar on a 2002 Silver Eagle
2002 $1 Silver Eagle--Partial Collar--MS66 NGC. A broad lip of unstruck medal is centered at 9 o'clock, but the right-side rim has a normal appearance. An unusual error for a modern bullion coin, which is subject to greater mint supervision than circulation coins. Lightly toned, well struck, and immaculate save for faint contact beneath the eagle's tail.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 26K5, PCGS# 9959, Greysheet# 10652)
