    1976 Gold Bicentennial Medal PR69 Ultra Cameo NGC. 33mm. A pristine example of this scarce gold U.S. Mint medal. Struck to commemorate the U.S. Bicentennial, the alloy is .900 fine. Chief Engraver Frank Gasparro designed the Statue of Liberty obverse and staff engraver Edgar Zell Steever executed the Great Seal reverse. For the 1-5/16-inch gold variety, the sales figure was 5,383 pieces at $400 each.
