    1806 Draped Bust Quarter, B-2
    Original Surfaces, Choice VF Example

1806 25C B-2, R.2, VF35 PCGS. Tompkins Die State 3/5. The natural, dusky-gray patina shows reddish-gold luster around the motifs despite wear from circulation and a few light marks, including a toned-over, hair-thin line that runs from the shoulder to the jawline. Struck from a late die state, with rim crumble at star 7 and above LIB of LIBERTY and emerging rim cuds above ED and STA of UNITED STATES. Sharp definition remains on the devices with outstanding, original eye appeal.
