Description

1914 Lincoln Cent, PR67 Red
One of Three With CAC Approval

1914 1C PR67 Red PCGS. CAC. Certified in an early-era PCGS blue-label holder, this Superb Gem Red proof 1914 Lincoln cent clearly has stable surfaces, a point that aficionados of such things will care about. Blazing orange-red patina only momentarily veers into pale lilac on the portrait high points. There is a wealth of detail visible from the full proof strike in the hair, beard, and coat. A few brownish flecks appear only under magnification and are trivial in context of the broad eye appeal and high technical quality present. Population: 7 in 67 Red, 2 finer. CAC: 3 in 67 Red, 0 finer (1/16).(Registry values: N2998)
