Description

1921-D Mercury Dime, MS66 Full Bands
Low-Mintage Better Date

1921-D 10C MS66 Full Bands PCGS. CAC. The 1921-D Mercury dime claims a mintage of just over 1 million pieces, the second-lowest production total of the series. As might be expected, the 1921-D is a sought-after key date, the second-rarest regular-issue Mercury dime, after the famous 1916-D. Most examples seen are softly struck on the peripheries, but this spectacular Premium Gem is sharply detailed in all areas. The bands on the fasces are fully split and rounded. The virtually pristine surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster on both sides, enhancing the terrific eye appeal. This coin should find a home in the finest collection or Registry Set. Population: 26 in 66 (7 in 66+) Full Bands, 1 finer. CAC: 10 in 66, 0 finer (1/17).(Registry values: N4719)
