1895 Quarter, Sharp PR67+
Picturesque Obverse Toning
1895 25C PR67+ PCGS. A razor-sharp Superb Gem 1895 proof
with mirrored fields and incredible old-time toning. The
picturesque obverse displays almost unimprovable color in
concentric rings of sun-gold, mint-green, ocean-blue and lavender
around a champagne interior. The reverse is more deeply toned in
blended olive-green, lavender, and gold hues. Both sides show
modest contrast, although the obverse is more prominent. There is a
microscopic mark in the right obverse field that limits the grade.
