    Better Carson City Issue

    1893-CC $5 MS61 PCGS. Variety 1-A. The final Carson City half eagle has a low mintage of 60,000 pieces and is more often encountered in circulated grades than in Mint State. The present sharply struck canary-gold example is void of consequential contact. Luster is especially vibrant at the borders. Population: 37 in 61, 74 finer (4/17).
