Description

1935-S Mercury Dime, MS67+ Full Bands
Just One Numerically Finer at Either Service

1935-S 10C MS67+ Full Bands PCGS. CAC. Given the scarcity of Superb Gem 1935-S dimes with Full Bands and the importance of the PCGS Plus designation (as well as CAC endorsement), one can argue that this smoothly lustrous, blazing-white dime is one of the dozen finest-known examples at this point in time. The obverse appears altogether pristine, while a few minuscule ticks on the reverse and a hint of flatness at TES of STATES are the only deterrents to an even finer grade. Population: 10 in 67+ Full Bands, 1 finer (9/17).(Registry values: N1793)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 23JE, PCGS# 4997, Greysheet# 4582)

Weight: 2.49 grams

Metal: 90% Silver, 10% Copper
