    1861 $20 Saddle Ridge Hoard -- Spot Removed -- PCGS Genuine. AU Details. Ex: Saddle Ridge Hoard. A strike-through between the TA in STATES exhibits wispy pinscratches. The honey-gold surfaces are semiprooflike. This Civil War double eagle was once part of the Saddle Ridge Hoard, a group of U.S. gold coins (dated 1847 to 1894, and mostly double eagles) recovered from buried tin cans in 2013.
