Victoria gold "Ansell" Sovereign 1859 AU53 NGC, Royal mint, KM736.3, S-3852E. The famed "Ansell sovereign," identified by the extra band in the ribbon in Victoria's hair. Natural surfaces, with some darker areas of color serving to highlight the devices. Some scattered hairlines, as well as the die break at 12:00 on the obverse that is found on so many of this type, but otherwise attractive.
