Description

Victoria gold "St. George" Sovereign 1874-M MS63 NGC, Melbourne mint, KM7, S-3857. Exceptionally fresh for the issue with undeterred luster and a bold strike that meticulously renders Victoria's youthful bust and the classic "Saint George Slaying the Dragon" reverse motif. Although rare in the observed grade, a single graze in the field beneath the horse's hindquarters prevents an even finer numerical designation.
