Argentina: Rio de la Plata 8 Reales 1813 PTS-J MS61 NGC,...
Description
Rio de la Plata 8 Reales 1813 PTS-J MS61 NGC, Potosi mint, KM5, CJ-4.1. Given a grade that can sometimes scare off collectors, yet hunters of this desirable type should not shy away from this exceptionally beautiful example with a burst of underlying luster that brightens the core underneath the somewhat sporadic patches of dark toning. This is only the second Mint State example of the type and date that we have handled, with the only other occasion--also an MS61--dating back to 2017.From the Grundy Collection of Latin American and Spanish Coins
