Charles III 8 Reales 1768 PTS-JR XF Details (Spot Removals)
NGC, Potosi mint, KM50, Cal-1161. "VRTA" spelling error, plain
"6" over fancy "6", 6-petal rosette below shield variety. An
incredibly rare subtype that contains the noted mis-ordering of
letters in the obverse legend, coupled with other curious die
characteristics, that upon discovery, was recalled and addressed,
leaving only a small handful of examples extant. One of just five
to come to market in the last two decades, and sure to entice the
