Description

Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1816 So-FJ MS64 NGC, Santiago mint, KM80, Elizondo-75, Cal-1409. Laureate bust type. Spectacular cartwheel luster abounds on this incredibly alluring specimen that is enhanced by fire embers that trail along the rims. The crisp devices appear frosted, even against the blast-white backdrop. There are only three known uncirculated examples across both grading services and they all jockey for position at the MS64 level. Incredibly flashy and worthy of considerable attention given the general scarcity of appreciable specimens.
