Description

Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1816 P-F XF Details (Cleaned) NGC, Popayan mint, KM71, Cal-1369, Restrepo-120.10. Struck at Popayan in Ferdinand's name, though famously displaying the bust of Charles IV. Exceedingly scarce and exceptionally difficult to find in high grade, with this the only example that we've handled that has crossed the threshold into an XF holder. Most of the original detail remains visible with the highpoint wear evenly distributed throughout. This is a pretty coin, especially in relation to other examples that have appeared on the market.
