Guatemala mint, KM4, Elizondo-85. The second date in this prolific
series, this charcoal-skinned specimen reveals a kaleidoscopic
shimmer under the light as well as an attractive shadow-quality in
the legends that contributes to its visual appeal. While the
razor-sharp details are status quo within the Grundy Collection,
the fact is that this type seldom comes so crisp, with every detail
of the Ceiba tree and stippling of the mountains fully struck up.
Tied at the peak of the census with a single other specimen despite
the 80+ pieces certified by NGC, and certainly among the most
