Description

Guadalajara. Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1814 GA-MR AU53 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM111.3, Cal-1206. Conditionally scarce as this type was prone to poor mint conditions and the tumult of political strife that swept across Mexico during the waning days of colonial rule. This particular example far exceeds the norm with its delicately patinated surfaces and relatively sharp strike, particularly around the peripherals.
