Guadalajara. Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1815 GA-MR MS63 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM111.3, Cal-1207. Draped Bust. A scarcer type within the Guadalajara series that often comes with minor planchet imperfections as is the case here just above the well-defined bust. The skin on the obverse is bright and lustrous while the reverse offers a gentle tone that softens the whole. This specimen shares the top spot at NGC with a single other example, one we offered in 2012 to great fanfare.Ex. Privately purchased from Paul Karon
