Description
Guadalajara. Ferdinand VII 8 Reales 1818 GA-FS MS61 NGC, Guadalajara mint, KM111.3, Cal-1208. A coveted War of Independence issue and one seldom seen uncirculated, confirming its status as a scarce and conditionally sensitive type. In fact, this specimen is one of only two pieces that have crossed the threshold into a Mint State holder at either grading service. The devices remain fully intact while the surfaces admit evidence of only trivial, grade-defining marks. A truly stunning rendition of this often well-handled series.Ex.
