Great Britain: Charles II gold 5 Guineas 1677 AU55 NGC,...
Description
Resplendent Gold Issue of Charles II
Charles II gold 5 Guineas 1677 AU55 NGC, KM430.1, S-3328A,
Fr-281. VICESIMO NONO edge. Not a single element of the engraved
dies was missed on the firm strike, leaving a specimen that
captures the full intensity of the coin as it was meant to be
respected and savored. The brass-gold patina sits beautifully on
the full-size planchet with very little in the way of circulation
wear to detract from the overall presentation. This is a fantastic
example of a type that we seldom have the privilege of handling,
particularly in the 1674-1678 date range (S-3328A).Metal: Gold
Diameter: 37mm
