Description

Ferdinand VI gold 8 Escudos 1751 LM-J AU55 NGC, Lima mint, KM50, Cal-764. An excellent example of the "pelucón" type, struck during the first year of milled coinage production at the Lima mint. Superbly toned in a rich amber patina that accentuates the central motifs of this highly detailed specimen. A mere three dates of this issue showcase this bust type.
