Chile: Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1817 So-FJ MS64 NGC,...
Description
Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1817 So-FJ MS64 NGC, Santiago mint, KM78, Cal-1876. Exceptionally well preserved, beaming with fresh mint luster yet still possessing some of the idiosyncrasies associated with the Santiago mint during the late stages of the colonial era, including somewhat worn dies. Nevertheless, the outstanding surface quality carries this appealing Colección Val y Mexía specimen to the peak of the NGC census for the date. From the Val y Mexia Collection
