Colombia: Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1810/09 NR-JF MS62 PCGS,...
Description
Gleaming Colombian Overdate
Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1810/09 NR-JF MS62 PCGS, Nuevo
Reino mint, KM66.2, Cal-1836. A wholly enchanting overdate specimen
rarely encountered so fine; the prominent underdate is still
visible without magnification and fully encompassed in the
radiating mint brilliance gripping the edges. Despite striking
softness witnessed in the central designs, the piece at hand
remains impressive. We offered this exact specimen in 2021 when it
was the finest yet certified, and it remains as such half a decade
later.Ex. Heritage Auction 3093 (October 2021, Lot 31284)
