    Description

    1794 1C Head of 1794 Cent VF30 SEGS (XF40 Corroded, Light Damage). S-57, R.1. Light purple-brown in patina. A relatively sharp example that has areas of minor corrosion, most notably on the left half of the reverse. A planchet flaw (as struck) travels diagonally from 9 o'clock to 11 o'clock on the obverse. The cheek has a faint pinscratch. The date is lightly strike doubled.
