1859-D $2 1/2 Quarter Eagle XF45 SEGS (XF40 Light Hairlines). The final Dahlonega Quarter Eagle and an scarce example of Southern gold with a low mintage of only 2,244 pieces. The green-gold surfaces are reasonably well struck and have hints of brick-red color in the protected areas.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25JM, PCGS# 7789, Greysheet# 8386)
