    Key Date 1860-O Seated Dime

1860-O 10C Dime XF 45 Old "Lite" Cleaning SEGS. G-101. Somewhat softly defined with light, even wear. Both sides are unnaturally bright beneath a thin dusting of steel-gray and lilac patina. The 1860-O is a low mintage (40,000 pieces) issue that apparently suffered a high rate of attrition in the early 1860s. This date is also one of only two Legend Obverse Seated dimes produced at the New Orleans Mint.
