    Description

Pattern 1868 Cent Struck in Nickel

1868 1C Pattern One Cent, Judd-610, Pollock-675, R.8, PR 64 ICG. The design is similar to that used to produce regular issue 1843-1857 large cents. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. The slate-gray surfaces are smooth and moderately mirrored, a few scattered carbon flecks preclude an even higher grade.
