Low Mintage 1872 Eagle Rarity
1872 $10 Eagle AU55 SEGS (AU50 Polished). Only 1,650 Eagles were produced by the Philadelphia Mint in 1872, and this issue is the rarest P-mint Liberty Ten after only the 1873 and 1875. This lot offers a well detailed, orange-gold representative with unnaturally glossy surfaces from the cleaning.
