    Description

    Scarce 1893-CC Morgan Dollar

1893-CC $1 Dollar MS 65 Paramount (MS 63). Ex: Redfield Collection. This peripherally toned example is richly frosted with an uncommonly bold strike for the issue. The few scattered abrasions include a small mark from a counting machine in the field before Liberty's neck. The latter is a relatively common feature of Morgan dollars from the Redfield Hoard. There is a single toning spot on Liberty's headband.
