    Description

Exceptionally Attractive Mint State 1894-O Silver Dollar

1894-O $1 Morgan Dollar MS65 PCI (MS63). When encountered in Mint State at all, the 1894-O is apt to be heavily abraded, lackluster, and/or poorly struck. Fully impressed examples may not exist, and even poorly defined coins that exhibit any degree of positive eye appeal are decidedly rare. The present representative is well above average for the issue with bright, untoned surfaces that allow full appreciation of the relatively vibrant luster. There are only a few bagmarks in and around the centers, and the otherwise sharp strike wanes just a little over the highpoints. A Choice quality Morgan that is worthy of a strong bid.
