1897-O $1 Dollar MS 63 ICG. A key Morgan dollar above the BU grade level, this is a satiny coin whose striking definition is quite bold for the issue. There are traces of golden iridescence near the rims, but the balance of the surfaces present a brilliant-white sheen. Peripheral die cracks (as struck) are noted around the reverse, but both sides are minimally abraded for the assigned grade.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2566, PCGS# 7248, GSID# 7629)
