    Description

    1914-D 5C Nickel XF40 PCI (XF40). Both sides are evenly toned in lavender-gray patina. From a sharp strike with a full horn and only light wear. The surfaces are free from remotely relevant abrasion. There is a radial die crack (as struck) at 10 o'clock on the obverse. Struck from slightly rotated dies. A better date.
