Description
1843/3 50C half dollar XF 40 PCI, there is minor recutting on the last two digits in the date; 1843/1843-O half dollar AU 50 PCI, a scarce variety, the present example displays a curiously glossy, golden-gray appearance with mottled crimson colored accents; 1844/44 half dollar VF 35 PCI, untoned with the exception of freckled rim highlights; 1844 half dollar XF 40 PCI, Recut 8, the originally preserved surfaces are awash in olive-gray patina; 1847-O half dollar XF 45 PCI, evenly toned with no mentionable abrasions; and an 1856/1856-O half dollar AU 50 PCI, dappled multicolored iridescence overlays the otherwise brilliant features.
