1794 half cent ANACS Not Graded, Corroded. Breen-6b, Cohen-4, R.3. We grade this piece VF 35 and question whether what we see on the obverse is really corrosion. The coin appears to have been struck on a poor planchet as evidenced by the numerous small flakes out of the right half of the obverse, but we can find no evidence of actual corrosion. Roughly equivalent to Breen's Die State III with heavy die clashing on the obverse and showing the D from UNITED behind the cap. Otherwise, medium brown with good obverse details and no mentionable nicks or cuts.

Thanks to Heritage I realized a handsome profit for my coin submissions and intend to send most of the remainder of my collection to Heritage Auction Galleries for future auctions.
